Ring Around the Mountain Tour at Mt. Pisgah (Registration Required)

Join tour guide Bruce Newhouse for an exciting circumnavigation of Mt. Pisgah! We'll start at the North Trailhead and go counter-clockwise: we'll go south on trails 7 (Bridge Bowl Trail) and 17 to the Arboretum, then hike Trail 5 (Quarry Road Trail) south above the South Bottomlands and eastward to Trail 3 (West Slope Trail). We'll continue east on Trail 3 across the Piedmont, take Trail 2 (Biestel's East Summit Trail) northward a short distance to the "new" Trail 4 (North Boundary Trail) going north, then go on Trail 4 west to Trail 3 back to the North Trailhead where we started.

Expect to stop briefly but frequently for observing and identifying wildflowers, birds, butterflies, bees, fungi and whatever else grabs our attention. We'll also talk a little about how the new Habitat Management Plan will make this fantastic place even better in the coming years!

Oregon Gran Fondo Bike Ride (Tickets Required)

While some choose to ride fast and test their endurance, by definition, a Gran Fondo is not a race, but rather a mass start event designed to draw the community together and give everyone a chance to enjoy the fun of riding a bike on the same course as the pros. It is truly a ride for everyone! At The Oregon Gran Fondo, teams and individuals, who want to ride, will do that on the 117-mile Gran route or ride the 71 mile Medio Route. New is the 42 Mile Picollo and for that adventure cyclist the 137 Mile Sherman Route!
