Leading Oregon's Outdoor Recreation Movement
Outdoor recreation generates $16.4 billion per year and sustains over 171,000 jobs in Oregon. Recognizing the disparity between this significant economic impact and its limited policy-making influence, Oregon Outdoors was born in 2017 when cross-sector leaders from across the state came together with a shared vision for preserving Oregon's outdoor assets for tomorrow's Oregonians.
Oregon Outdoors establishes common priorities in order to bring our collective voice into action for Oregon's outdoor assets. We work to ensure that outdoor recreation is celebrated and sustained as an integral part of the state's identity, culture, and sustainable economy.
Oregon Outdoors is a coalition of outdoor recreation businesses, conservation groups, recreation organizations, and individuals who are committed to the preservation of Oregon's outdoor assets for future generations.
